I’m one of those people who will try anything to beat the winter blues and after seeing this SAD light, brought one ASAP. At the time there wasn’t many reviews but really the only thing I need to say is ‘it works’. You can adjust the luminence so it’s dimmed, or very bright. You can also adjust the amount of time it stays on before switching itself off, or it can be left on permanently until you turn it off again. So, imagine you’re on your PC right now, surfing or Facebooking, and this bright light bright at you…what could be simpler? Just give it a few days to start working. I have mine on for hours at a time.

This is my first SAD lamp. I feel like it helps. Up close, it’s extremely bright, even on the dimmest setting. Seems to work well though, even if placed across the room. I chose it because it was cheaper than a lot of the others. I thought I might regret that. Really, I’m really pleased with the less expensive option.

I have considered getting a SAD light for some time. I have been deterred by the sky high prices. I am pleased to have paid a sensible price (circa £40) in this instance.
So, winter has set in, in gloomy, rainy London. I have went into a large room with a horrible tube light, that makes my head hurt. There is also a “regular” bulb lamp, but they aren’t fantastic either ; it produce a horrible yellow/orange light, that’s weak.
I have used some duct tape to attach it to the wall near my desk, above eye-level. (It’s quite light so it duct tape works just fine. It’s above eye level as it (obviously) hurts your eyes if you look straight at it. It’s really an incredibly excellent simulation of daylight. The range is pretty small though, so probably I’m going to get another one to illuminate another corner of my room.
I wish I had bought one of these much, much sooner.

I have no thought whether it is physiological or not!
As a sufferer of SAD it seems to make a difference so I am enjoying it!

Certainly excellent value for money when compared with other similar SAD Lights. It’s a small too early to give a full review regarding how effective the light is for SAD sufferers but so far, so excellent. It’s very simple to use and the controls to increase and decrease the strength of LED lights are nice and straightforward.
